Well look at that
So I just finished going through all of my blog entries and deleted all the spam comments and closed the future commenting on those entries. I figure that there won’t be too many people who want to comment on those old posts (as if there was anybody who wanted to comment when they were written). Either way, they’re closed.
You wouldn’t believe how big of a problem spam is with this. Everytime I get a new comment, I get an email saying that there is a new comment. So I was deleting and blocking the IP for the longest time, but some guy/bot “Socrates” kept evading it and spamming me. That’s the biggest reason that the comments were closed. So I’ll be leaving each entry’s comment option open for a few weeks after it’s been posted. I’ll also remove the blog location from robots.txt (so googlebot will pick it up again).
Now in other news, I’ve added another hostee (or two) to the list. I’m now hosting HabboShack for one. These guys are a great fansite for HabboHotel.
I’ve also decided to host two people’s radio blogs to be linked once they get more then 5 songs on their list. Feel free to check out My Radio Blog in the meantime. If you’re interested in having your own radio blog and need hosting, give me a shout and I’ll be more then happy to hook you up.
Hmm, now to what else is going on, I’m not sure. Job is going great, I love the late shifts. Little work, same great pay. I work in an hour, so I’m just wasting time (incase you can’t tell). I think I may start blogging more since I’ll need something to fill in time during my shift. It’s not hard to moderate 50 people when 46 of them are on the front page and not interacting with eachother. Man I love this job. And because of this job, I think I now moderate all but 1 place I visit online. I’m SO putting “Professional Moderator” on my resume when I get around to updating it.
Ok, on a final note (since my hands are cold and I’m going to warm them up upstairs) Smirnoff Ice tastes great. Yeah, had to end on a happy note.
