Well look at that!
I don’t know what it is, but it seems whenever I have something I could talk about, I just don’t feel like blogging about it. I know, it’s easier to blog about something then when you have something to blog about you’re too busy with it to blog about it. Oh the delema.
So first off. the laptop: It is here, and it is fine. My nice 2.1gHZ runs well, with exception to the ram (256mb). I was planning on putting off the upgrade of that ($72) until a later date, but no. I was looking at iPods on ebay, and found a nice 10GB for $113, I was going to get it. Then my computer lagged me out. That was the straw, ram is needed now! So I’m going to go down to Canada Computers today and pick it up. I think I should be fine with 768mb ram for now, no? Then my computer will be ‘awesomer’.
Next on the list: Check out Tom’s Blog. Yay for blogging!
What else to talk about…I just signed a contract renewal for my current position (woo hoo, I passed the probationary period!). Yes, this means I didn’t get the position I wanted in Toronto. But it’s all good, things happen for a reason.
I’m still looking to move to Toronto, though at this point I’m having doubts of it. OK, lets say I get a place for $750/month (I’m going to assume it’s ‘all inclusive with heating, lights and hydro). So:
Rent: $750
Phone Bill: $80-$110 as I’m figuring it will be after this month
Internet: $45 (an estimate price AND assuming it’s not included with the rent, which it usually isn’t)
Food: $200
So with just that I’m up to $1075-$1105. This leaves me with some money to get my through the rest of the month, but not really enough to put away to save. Sigh, I don’t know. I want to move out but with the money that I’m making and the fact that I have no line of credit, $30 in my savings and bad spending habits; It wouldn’t be wise.
Hey, look at that, I rambled. So feel free to give me advice, because any help as to what I should do would be awesome. I love when people suggest what I should do, it’s easier than thinking for myself. Hehe.
Remember: Playing dumb will almost always get you out of a tough situation. If you need proof, look at Bush. That just proves that the better you are at being stupid, the more people will trust you.
That is all.
