OK, first off, you’ll all most likely notice that my blog can now be located on the main site of Shirtninja.net . Besides the fact that it is being put there to make it more widely read, it is here in prep for Blogathon on the 6th.
Blogathon (if you don’t know already) is a marathon to which bloggers stay up for 24 hours and blog every 30 minutes to raise money for a charity of their choice. I did Project Blog last year, which was the replacement for Blogathon as it wasn’t being done, and it was awesome. Last year I was blogging for the Tim Horton’s Children Foundation, where as this year I’m blogging for Wired Safety. What they do is attempt to protect people and keep them safe online (much like myself in my line of work, but on a much larger scale). Safety is good right? Then sponsor me! OK, back to the site itself: The blog is visible from the main page, as was said, and I plan on keeping it there from now on. It is to my logic that nobody (including myself) really cares about updates on the site unless it’s something that needs to be explained. And if it is, I usually blog about it anyway. So why not just make the blog the main page? It just seems to make more sense. On a side note, it is the first step towards the implement of the new layout.
Now as for Blogging for Apples, I’m thinking I may totally kill the name. I mean A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, no? Now I know you’re either thinking “Why get rid of the name?” or “Who cares, just point me to the pron!” Well first off, to get to the pron take the 3rd star on the left and go straight on ’til morning. No wait, that’s the instructions to Never Neverland. I guess you’re on your own there. Now as for getting rid of the name, It’s just become pointless. Not only does it serve no real purpose and it’s not often noticed. Not to mention that over the past few years many name-stealing bastards have taken it; Including some dick who registered it as a domain name. So as it stands now, I’ll be throwing it out the window with the coming layout.
I’ve typed a lot so far this post, cool. As for my personal life, it hasn’t changed since you last heard from me. Went and hung out tonight, got back at 1:00am. Didn’t sleep, working now. Going to sleep when my shift is over. I like sleeping during the day. Now let me suck your blood!
