Well, when asking random people on MSN earlier for blog topics, one of the answers I got was “er”. So being the smartass that I am, I’m dedicating this post to “er”.
OK, ‘er’ can be used for many things. It is most often seen as a suffix at the end of a word to demonstrate that is more than. Such as faster, demonstrating that it’s more than fast; or louder, demonstration it’s more than loud.
However, it could also be ‘ER’, and stand for Emergency Room. Though unless you’re al doctors (or watch a lot of medical shows on TV) you won’t hear this too often (hopefully).
‘Er’ can also come at the beginning of a word, such as early or the name Ernest, or simply the noise errg. Yes, now I’m just rambling. Time to end the subject I think.
