Mommy, It’s over!

Well, Blogathon is officially over!
With 219 Participants and 1791 Sponsors, we raised $55497.47. I don’t think that’s too shabby. I’m sure the various charities recieving this money will be pretty satisfied as well. Now for the final speech:

Oh my this is so unexpected. I’d like to thank God…no, I’m just pulling your leg. But seriously, I’ll thank the organizers of Blogathon, you guys really pulled it off this year. A thank you to my sponsors; Without you I wouldn’t be doing it. A thanks goes out to my guest bloggers, my readers, my comment’rs and those who suggested topics. And of course, a big thank you to those of you who helped keep me awake; Without you guys I wouldn’t have been able to do it. Thank you all. This is for you Sir Froster!

Overall I’ll have to say I enjoyed the experience. Not only does it give a feeling of accomplishment being able to stay up for so long, but you feel good knowing that you’d done somethng good for somebody besides yourself. I had a blast doing it as a whole (though at times I may have said otherwise) and can’t wait to do it again next year.

So now that I have that out of the way: Have a good sleep fellow bloggers, you’ve definitly deserved it. Sweet Dreams and like always, That is All.

T minus 30

With only 30 minutes left of Blogathon, I’m definitly read to sleep.
I plan on going to lay down and just lay there until I have to work at 1am on Monday morning. I’m just so tired. Were it not for that Rev that I was drinking to keep me awake, I would have been going long ago. Yay for stuff.

So I guess I’ve almost made it. 30 minutes will be nothing. I could do 30 minutes in my sleep. Wait, if I was doing it in my sleep then I wouldn’t be doing it…ok, that doesn’t work.

Almost there!

Topic Wrap-up

I have 3 suggested topics left that I didn’t blog about. Here is where they’ll be.
Games
Games are good. I’ve always been a fan of playing games. Board games can be fun sometimes (such as Monopoly, Life, and Risk). Video games are always fun to play. Especially multi player video games. Anything where you can play an interactive game against somebody else and blow them up or run them over with something or just plain beat them is fun.
And let’s not forget head-games. People play head games with each other all the time. Sometimes they’re harmless things to confuse the person, sometime they force the person to see a shrink the rest of their life. It all comes down to the person who is playing them. Lets how you never end up at the wrong end of a Sith playing them.

Root words that you seriously don’t notice.
Are you kidding me Ashley?! You gave the example of Plea and Please, and that’s the only one I can come up with. I’m not too great when it actually comes to thinking. Sorry.

Origins of the days of the week.
Around 400 AD, the Roman’s adapted the idea of having a 7 day week. It is assumed that 7 was chosen because it was known that there was 7 planets (at the time).
Sunday: Based on the Sun, it was chosen as the first day of the week because of the belief that the Sun was dominant
Monday: Based on the day of the Moon.
Tuesday: In Roman, it was named Martis after Mars. However was renamed in English. Derived from Tyr or Tir, the honorable god of war.
Wednesday: Derives from the Scandinavian Woden, chief god of Norse mythology.
Thursday: Named after Thor, god of strength and thunder.
Friday: Germanic Frigga considered to be the mother of all, and the goddess who presides over marriage.
Saturday: Dedicated to Saturn, the god of agriculture.

Wow!

So wnt to bed at 1pm Friday, and slept until 5pm Frday. I’ve been up since 5pm Friday.
So 5pm Friday – 5pm Saturday = 24 hours
5pm Saturday – 7:30am Sunday = 14:30 + 24 = 38:30h.

So at the point of this blog, I have alreayd ben up for 38 hours and 30 minutes. I think that’s not too shabby. I’ll have been up for exactly 40 hours at the end of the Blogathon. If you ask me, it’s too long. 24 hours I can deal with. But I fear I didn’t plan it very well and my lack of quality blogging as shown this.

So as I previously said, I’m going to have a theme next year. Not sure what, but something. I’m also going to make sure I have atleast 12 hours off to sleep right before blogathon. It will give me the natural energy to post. Right now I’m being powered by Rev and Frosters. Not good for the body.

So anyway, I have an hour and a half left. It’s going to be fun trying to cram some stuff in here. lets make the last posts the best posts! onward and upward!

Childhood food

OK, as was mentioned in a previous comment about what I should blog about: I’m going to blog about my favorite childhood food.

When I was a child, my favorite food was pizza. Unlike now, where my favorite food is pizza. I’ve grown up over the years. To be specific, my favorite pizza is meat lovers. So for all you going to buy me food, now you know.

Now my least favorite food would have to be mushrooms / onions. I can’t choose, I hate them both. I can pick them out no matter how big or small. They just make me sick as a dog. I’m not too fond of pasta either, makes me gag. But not like mushrooms / onions do. Ick.

Adam

So I’m still chatting with Megan (balls) and Jephyrr in my webcam chat, but we have an extra now: Adam. I have no clue who he is, or how old, or what. He just came out of the shadows and here he is. He’s kind of perverted to be honest. Says he’s 33. True? Who knows! He’s talking to people much younger! See kids, this is why you don’t trust people on the internet.

GI Joe!

Six 0 click

Can you believe it’s six o clock already? I can’t. I’ve made a resolution: Next blogathong I’m going to have a theme. Because not having one makes it really hard. I’ll try to think of something good for hte next one. Either that, or I’ll copy the log from the webconvo we’re having. HEhehe.

OK, I’m out of topics and my brain is shutting down. Not to mention that I’m getting angry at work again. So when my brain isn’t on and I’m angry it’s not good. Somebody please give me a topic for the next post, otherwise I might go on a rant and say something I shouldn’t.

Gah

I can ignore calls up to a certain point, but there is a limit. Now the hotel is dead. Fucking fuck fuck. Yes, I swore. Now I have to call Finland. I don’t even think I CAN call finland.
