Blogathon’s back, Alright!
Insert annoying parody of Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) here
Blogathon is back baby! On July 28th/29th I’ll participating in my 4th Blogathon (Well 3rd + Project Blog, still counts!). For those of you who are new to the game, Blogathon involves a number of bloggers who stay up for 24 hours posting blog posts every 30 minutes. They do this to raise money for charities, all of which is pledged by sponsors.
This year I’ll be blogging for the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. They allow kids economically disadvantaged homes to go to summer camp. I went to one when I was younger and I’ll have those memories the rest of my life. It’s a very good cause and gives kids a chance to be kids, which is a rare thing in this day and age.
Last year I was able to raise $42, which was $12 above my goal of $30. This year I’m setting the bar higher: I’m going to raise at least $100 for my charity. So what does that mean? Start sponsoring me guys!
If you love me you’ll sponsor me <3 *puppy dog eyes*
