I love google. This word only came up when a certain word (7th from last in rant) wasn’t reconized as a real word on spellcheck.net (which I also love). It seems to describe this quite well to say the least.

I’m still in insane-energized mode from blogathon. Sitting here dancing, in a good mood.

Then some people were complete asses and just plain mean on dofus. This lead me to a rant about how people have no honor anymore. This completely sickens me that I even have to write this. I hate ranting, and when you’re forced to rant about something that shouldn’t be an issue it makes it worse. I attempted to keep it clean, but vulgarity slipped itself in there. So I’ve put it in the extended to keep it from anybody who may be offended by it. So look in the extended if you want to see it.

Bah, I’m going to find something else to do. I need to wait for certain people to come online to help me out on dofus, I’m done playing fair, everybody is playing dirty so I need help playing dirty. Until they come online, I need to find something to make me feel better. I hate when people play dirty, it ruins the fun for everybody else. Bah -.-

Honor Rant: Beware, ends up being quite vulgar

So I hop on dofus to waste some time. So killing some stuff on moon island (where you can’t aggress other people) and it’s all good. A guildie needs something, so I leave moon. While off the island some low level challenges me to see my spells; that’s cool I like helping newbies. So we have a mock-dual and I show him some stuff, he asks to see my gear. No problem, I finish the battle and take my gear off to show him. The second it’s off, a person 30 levels higher decides to attack me. Fantastic, what a coward, waits until I take my stuff off to attack me. So I have 821 HP compared to my normal 1215 HP.

So I’m mad, but I still have my level 5 wings to wear all my gear, so it’s not important (in player vs player you gain/lose honor points and get rank, rank is needed for certain gear). For the gear I have, rank 5 is the highest I need for the gear I have, so I try to avoid PvP since I have no gain from it. Anyway, I go to my in-game house to pick up some bread. The second I leave it, I’m attacked again: 4 vs 1, all of them level 100 to 115 (I’m only 126). Yet another unfair battle, this time I’m downgraded to rank 4 and can no longer wear my belt. Now I’m mad.

So I decided to go to Bonta’s (the ones attacking me) city. They won’t be expecting me to attack them from the center of their city. So I go the nearest zaap to run there, 1 screen from the zaap I went to: Attacked 3 vs 1. This time they’re levels 155, 120 and 103. Great, even more honor points lost. What completely pisses me off here is that the 155 and I already fought. He had me scrolled (so he can track me anywhere) and after we fought he destroyed the scrolls, he just wanted to get revenge for a guild member I killed; that’s totally justified. So I figured “Ok, Contre (155) and I had our fight, he won’t attack me again”. Yeah, what a dick, he attacked me 3 on 1.

Note that when attacking people, I attack the person once, and we fight. I feel attacking somebody again is just mean, and uncalled for. To beat somebody repeatedly who is trying their best is like an artist telling a pre-schooler his picture is crap. The only reason that I would attack them again is if they were a poor sport, win/lose isn’t important; a fight is a fight.

So I’m now more then 300 points down from being able to wear my belt again. Which is crap. I lose a minimum of 130 for every fight, yet only gain 20-100 for winning one because I attack people 1 vs 1 (player vs player, not ganging people player vs player&player&player). You can easily get more points ganging up on people because there is less chance of losing. WTF is up with a game that promotes people to be cowardly pieces of shit?

Online or offline, I think I hold a fair amount of pride and honor towards other people. However it seems that today nobody else does, which is incredibly sad. In the past you would see people having duals using swords 1vs1 to the death; an honorable fight. However now you have cowards (not saying any north American countries with a red, white and blue flag in particular) who use bombs to attack people from a distance so they can’t defend. Win or lose, there is no honor it attacking a target who can’t defend them self. What excuse do they have? Yeah, I’m sure that sickly dying kid in Iraq was dangerous, huh?

Now what is this rant going towards you ask? My internal system has always been based on the idea of “If you’re going to do something, do it with honor and respect.” You can’t have honor if you’re attacking somebody who is defenceless. You want to take their lives, put yours on the line as well.

So as this doesn’t seem to work anymore, I’m going to start putting through a trail having no honor and no respect for people anymore unless it’s good for me. Some examples of this:
On dofus: I’m going to start attacking people with a group; completely make a fool of them. And I’ll do it over and over again.
On youtube/commenting sites: I’m not going to give people CC (constructive criticism) anymore, I’m just going to say they’re dumb, they suck and should give up. Because that seems to be what everybody does lately.

So simply put, I’m going to try being mean. Until a person shows me their not an asshole, I’m going to assume they are and going to act like a complete dick towards them. So be ready fucktards, I hope you fucking die shitbags.

I’m working on building it back up. In my fit of fury, I deleted most of the site. A lot of the content was and is still scattered around, but is in pieces of badly coded crap, so won’t work correctly. I’ve gone through stuff and deleted what I know is garbage, but have yet to decide what I’ll be putting up on the site. I’ll also work on a better layout once I decide what will be the content of the site. May just make it the Empire and this blog. Think that will be my best bet.

- Well, since my last post where I said I’ve moved out: Still in the same spot, though getting highly bored with it. By the end of the lease, I’m going to be gone, I’ve been in this town way too longl.
- Still have the same job, but have become bored with it. I do it and do it well, but I can’t see it progressing my life any. So if I can move up in the company sometime soon, cool. If not, guess I need to take my talents elsewhere.
- Was in a relationship for just over a month, broke up less then a week ago. To be honest, not sure why I was even in the realtionship, we had so little in common. Oh well, it happens.
- Had my gmail and my 7-year old hotmail account bruteforced (hacked). So lost them completely. Eventually got Google to simply suspend the account after 2 weeks. A lot of help that does, sure they already have gotten anything they wanted from it. Yet to get my hotmail back, not even going to bother.

Now:
So that brings us up to now. I’ve been getting fucked by everybody, and it’s over. I’ve become soft, and I’m sick of it. Fuck emotions, they get in the way. No more little 14 year olds attacking my accounts between their weekly circle jerks, no more whores who run my bank account dry because they can’t hold a job and sure as hell no more cocky newbie boss telling me how to do my job.

So the Bitch is back, so expect me to actually start doing shit I like doing again. I’ll be updating the site, blogging, maybe doing some graphics again. Yeah, definitly time for a change.

Forward: I had a feature set up on my cell: $15 for unlimited text & picture messaging (it’s like 15 cents for each text and $1.50 for each picture otherwise). It wasn’t associated with a plan, it was extra. So that was like the only thing they got right on my last bill.

I recieved a call last night (on the cell) from Telus at 9:30pm. They were asking for my Dad (as the account is under his name, but the phone is under mine). I asked if they could call back on the home phone, and the cell died. They never called back.

So I called today, to see what it is they were calling about, and making sure it wasn’t anything to do with the payment (that was paid on the 15th, 2 days after the bill came). They said it wasn’t, and the payment went through no problem. So he starts looking to try and find out why they called: He has no clue, there isn’t even a record of them calling. He checks to see if there is any promotions ending, promotions I’m available for, ect: There isn’t.

So then he looks to see if I’m over my minutes: I’m not even half way through. He then looks at my text/picture messages: 91 total; 19 of them text all the others picture. Now here is the kicker: There is no record of me being on a plan anymore for them, so they’re charging me individually. I’m sorry but that’s bullshit.

Me: “You’re fucking kidding right?”
Him: “No, it seems to have been removed when you changed your rate plan.”
Me: “Oh? So then that was included with my rate plan then?”
Him: “No, it was an extra feature.”
Me: “Extra feature? You mean it had nothing to do with rate plan, and therefore you have to remove it by itself.”
Him: “Yes.”
Me: “So then I removed it?”
Him: “No.”
Me: “So then it is still there?”
Him: “No, we removed it. We assumed..”
Me: “…You assumed that you could remove it without my permission and charge me ten times as much? I believe that you have to notifty me when you change my contract. I wasn’t notified.”
Him: “I’m sorry, we’ll put it back and it will be added next month. But you’ll still be charged for the ones used this month.”
Me: “So I’m going to be charged extra because you changed my contract without notifying me because one of your employees is a dumbass? I want to speak to your manager in this case. If I’m going to be paying an extra $50, I want something out of it. I want to see somebody get fired.”
Him: “Umm, there is not need for that. I’ll add it now and it will take place as of the first of August. Sorry for the inconvience.”
Me: “Oh good, I knew we could find a peaceful resolution. So what is your name again, just so I know who I was talking to for when you over charge me when the bill comes.”
Him: “Jason. And I’ll add the notes, we won’t over charge you.”
Me: “Good, if I see the extra charges, I’ll have them forwarded to you. Anything else?”
Him: “No. Anything else?”
Me: “Other then the echo of a mindless drone? No. Have a nice day.”
*click*

If it wasn’t for these jedi mind tricks…I swear, the people they hire. I’ve come to the conclussion that 98% of the people that work in customer service are morons. It’s true, nobody knows what they’re doing. I could say that I had a plan where an elephant comes by once a week to sit on my phone and they would have to go ask the manager what button they push to add it.

Stupid people piss me off.

UPDATE: I just got a call from Telus, they asked me how the service from the customer service rep was. I replied “He was good, he did exactly what he was told. Though it would be much better if you would stop changing stuff and over charging me. So yes, he did as he was told your service is just pathetic.” They replied “Ok, thank you for aiding us in our study.

So I got a HUGE cell phone bill today, and it was really messed up. I had called Telus on July 1st and asked them to change my plan from the $20/200 local minute plan to the $50/400 anywhere minute plan. She told me that since it was already the 1st, the pervious plan is already in effect. However it will change as of the beginning of August. So I’ll still have the $20/200 local for the month of July. Ok, that’s fine.

Now today’s bill is the problem: They charged me for the $50/400 mintute plan on my July 1st-July 31st bill. However, they only actually gave me the 200 local minute plan. So I talked a total of 414 minutes in July. If they gave me the $50 plan, it would be $50 + (14 x $0.25). Or if they had kept me on the $20 plan, it would have been $20 + (214 x $0.25). It’s higher but it’s still would be fine. Though that’s not what they did. Instead, they did $50 + (214 x $0.25). So they gave me the royal screw job there. So I decided to give them a call.

Me: “Hey, I think there is a mistake on my bill. You charged me for the $50 Talk Canada plan, but really only gave me the $20 Talk plan. So you charged me twice for all of my longdistance, as well as any local over the 200 mark.”
Telus Customer Service: “Well you see, the plan on the bill is actually the plan for the month to come.”
Me: “But the minutes are for the month that past. So if I’m paying for the minutes used for a month that hasn’t come yet, the minutes are being effected by a month that was already paid for. That makes no sense.”
TCS: “That’s a little right.”
Me: “So if I’m paying for the plan in advance, but paying for the minutes past, why not charge me for the minutes I haven’t used yet?”
TCS: “Because you haven’t used them yet.”
Me: “Really?! Well then how did I use the plan already? Did I talk on my phone and then come back in time to pay for it? It sounds stupid.”
TCS: “Well we can’t determine how many minutes you use..”
Me: “But you can determine what plan I want to use a month from the time I’m paying the bill?”
TCS: “Yes.”
Me: “So Can I determine that next month Telus will hire customer service that will know what they’re talking about?” TCS: “No, we don’t know about the future of the company.”
Me: “*laughing* Glad we cleared that up.”
*I hung up*

Notice how all the people who should have been shot at birth end up working in customer service? It drives me nuts. I’ll call back tomarrow and hope to get somebody with a brain, I’m sure there is at least one that knows what a cell phone is within the building. I hate stupid people.
