Sleeping = Bad

Posted By Jeff On December 30, 2003 @ 5:29 pm

I’ve been sleeping too much lately. I end up waking up and falling back asleep every hour between midnight and 6am, but then sleep until 2 in the afternoon. I really sucks because by the time I get up and get ready to go out everything is either closed or I just don’t feel like doing anything. I blame it on….I don’t know, but I’m sure there is something there.

As I stated in my previous LiveJournal post, I will be posting in both my blog and on my LiveJournal. So feel free to read it anywhere you feel more comfortable.

What else is new? Oh, I got the Nintendo 64 out since I don’t have my Gamecube right now. Perfect Dark is still the best first-person shooter ever. They should make another game for the gamecube based on Perfect Dark, however it won’t be done since Rare moved over to X-Box. Stupid Rare.

And that is about it. To all my readers of both worlds, Have a nice day.

Look, an update

Posted By Jeff On December 30, 2003 @ 1:05 am

I’ve been reading alot of people’s LJs lately, and realized that leaving LJ I left alot of people behind who didn’t follow me to Blogging for Apples. I think I’ll work on posting in both places and see if that works out a little better, but I doubt that I’ll remember to keep it up. But for at least the next week, expect Jeff’s triumphant, or horrible, return to LiveJournal.

Ho Hum

Well there hasn’t been that much new since my last post. I have some projects due the next few days, that sucks. Tomorrow I have a presentation to do. We’re in group group of 3 people, there is 7 things to do and I’ve done 3. I have no clue if the others have done their things, but they better have something for tomarrow.
I have 2 other projects due Friday. I have a book review due in English on Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. It won’t be as bad as I thought since the teacher said it only needed to be about a page or so; not too long. My other project is a magazine review. Out of 168 pages, 130 of them are ads, think about that.

Also, I went up to apply for another job today. I went up and gave them my resume at Sessions Cafe, which is a coffee house. She that she would give it to the manager. Then she was saying that I looked like I was qualified. She then said “Oh, it says you were born in 1986, is that a typo?” I replied no of course. She then said “Well I’m sorry to say that we can’t hire anybody under the age of 19.” How fair is that?! I finally find a decent place to work that’s hiring and my age restricts me. Stupid age, why couldn’t I be 2 years older. Oh well.

And other then that, I’ haven’t been doing too much at all.
Yep.

Watch

My #1 for this year’s x-mas list. It may be early, but this watch is awesome. 256MB of space to save stuff on a watch! Now take into consideration that thumbdrives that do teh same thing but don’t have a watch cost $109, so that deal is suprememo.

HaHaHa *falls down*

“Why should we, as Canadians, be scared of the American Army? Think about it, we’re bigger and we’re on top. If we were in prision, America would be our bitch.” – Rick Mercer
That’s my new favourite quote. America is our bitch.

Yeah I haven’t done much, came home and went to sleep, then got up and watched TV. The Joe Schmoe Show rules. For those who watch it, you’ll know that Hutch was forced to leave because he broke the rules. But, in the scenes from next week he’s back. What’s up with that?! Oh well.

Yeah, I’m watching the Just For Laugh 20th Anniversary Show, it rules ass. OK, I’m going back to watch it.

Peace out ma home diggy dogs!

Fink, Adolf

Can you imagine being named Adolf Fink? Guess what comes to mind instead of Fink, it starts and ends with the same letters. Think about sitting in a class room and the teacher calling your name “Is Fink, Adolf here? If you’re here please Fink, Alodf”. That’s just tourture to a kid, quite funny. Anyway, Adolf Fink orignally invented the contact lens. Though he invented them, they were orignally for horses, not people. Bet you didn’t know that.

Our Generation

Posted By Jeff On September 30, 2003 @ 9:26 am

Imported from recordabledisc.org archives

Our Generation sucks. Think about it, we have nothing. 60s were about peace, flowers and getting high; 70s were all about disco; and the 80s were all about individuality and fighting the man. Now we are the man, we suck. We may have some people wearing the clothes and stuff from those times, but the attitute just isn’t there. I hate this generation of clones, we just plain suck. And that’s I’ll I’m getting into on that, but trust me, ther can be more.

Now that I have that off my mind, I can talk about something else. This school sucks ass more then this generation. I was using mozilla (as I always do) and they blocked me at the district office. What the hell is the difference between me blogging using mozilla or using IE other than mozilla runs faster and IE blows chunks? Exactly. Fuck these IE clones, they piss me off so much. This district needs to wake up and quit riding Microsoft’s ass. Wow, I’m being pretty negitive today, but I’m in a good mood.

So yeah, I should start paying attention in class. “Blah… Blah… Blah… class marks… blah… blah…blah…NIC Card”. How boring.

The word of the day is Duh

Posted By Jeff On September 29, 2003 @ 11:40 pm

Today has been pretty…not bad for a Monday. First off, I got around to putting up the blog with my networking notes in them; much needed. Then math I didn’t do alot of work but got the homework done. English was a joke. Writing we made fun of Duncan all period. Media Studies was a joke as usual.

Now after I got home: I watched TV, wrote my 660 word autobiography (available to some upon request) and have been doing surfing since. However, I did manage to get the little apple icon thing in the address bar; go me! Oh, and thanks toad for the quick ico convert tip.

And I’m finishing off my day on a positive note. So have a nice day and go to hell happy.

The Neverending Blog

Posted By Jeff On September 28, 2003 @ 11:07 pm

Imported from recordabledisc.org archives

I was watching alot of TV today, sitting here for along time with nothing to do sucks. I watched The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, Wayne’s World and The Neverending Story; All these movies kick ass, especially the last two I named. Wayne’s World (tubular, party on!) is always funny, and The Neverending Story is one of my favorite movies of all time. So, in honor of the movie, I’m posting a picture of the great Auryn. Feel free to gaze in awe and leave comments telling me how great it is. Oh, and for those that don’t know, Auryn is said to bring good luck to it’s holder and to grant the holder’s one, true wish. Very Shibby.

Here’s a great covo that went on last night while playing video games:
*trevor beating Doug in game*
Doug: “Screw you Trevor!”
Trevor: “Sorry, I don’t screw guys.”
Doug: “Yeah, you’ve been shot down by both sexes”

You really had to be there to hear it, it was the funniest thing ever.
