Shibby!

Last night I was up at my friend’s house playing video games until after midnight, so I wasn’t on the computer all day. We played Rayman Arena (horrible game) and WWE Wrestlemania X9. Wrestlemania kicks ass; It really does.

I haven’t done much yet today, was checking out some stuff on ebay. I found the coolest belt ever. I want to get it so bad, I’m just hoping nobody else bids on it (If any of you bid on it I’ll scoop your heart out of your nose with a rusty spork). It’s so cool. I was looking at laptops and stuff too. Now if only they would sell them for the orignal 99 cents I could afford them with the retarded prices for shipping…

Who are you doing here?

I just watched Bringing Down the House, it’s pretty good. It has Steve Martin, Queen Latifah and Eugene Levy as the main characters. The storyline wasn’t the greatest, but it was pretty entertaining. What I enjoyed the most was the hidden messages in it. And it wasn’t like any other movie (since all contain hidden messages) because this movie was rated 8+, which means 8 year olds can see these. For example, a person walks out of a door way and seems to wipe something off the corner of her lip, then another character says to her “Who did you do?”. For those who get this, you can understand how funny and how risky this is in a childrens movie, which is why I enjoyed it so. Though these qwerks were highly entertaining, the movie in total wasn’t a movie which I would watch again. My final rating: 5/10.

Now, as for me. We had an assembly day today, so my whole day was thrown off. 10 minutes from each of my classes were removed, to form a 50 minute class for the assembly. However, the assembly ran over time, and they didn’t tell us when we had to return. So at 12:30 I called and asked when classes started, 12:40. Those bastards cut my lunch from an hour to 40 minutes. Then when I did run back to school, the teacher got there at one because she didn’t know when it went back in. Fucking school.

And now I’m sitting here, not quite sure what to do tonight, right now I’m skipping the stupid dance at school, all the crap they play is too damn pop-y. Damn pop.

ADDITION:

Now I just watched From Justin to Kelly and it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. For those who don’t know, it’s with those shitheads from American Idol. Now this movie is a musical, not one of my favorite types, but I’m not taking from that aspect. However, they did a horrible job tying the songs and dance in with the actual plot; they were just thrown in in random places. Now on the songs themself, they were too pop-y and the lip-sinking was some of the worst effort I’ve seen for quite some time. And the plot line with or without the songs was lame, uninteresting and just plain boring. My fianl rating: 2/10.

Adrian Lamo

Posted By Jeff On September 26, 2003 @ 9:27 am

Well I had a dream last night of when Adrian Lamo was on TechTV, and was wondering where he was. He did end up turning himself in, which is the right thing to do since he didn’t do anything wrong. Everybody that he hacked, he offered to freely fix the security openings. What’s wrong with that? However, the bastards at Times wanted him because of it. Fuck the New York Times. So he’s been fined, can’t use any computers and is being royally fucked over. Fuck the government, they’re being reasonable at all.
Lately there has been a site that opened up called FreeLamo. It seems to me to be some site opened just for publicity, but check it out anyway, just for the hell of it.

Another thing that I found halarious, is the the RIAA trying to sue an old woman. Not only was this woman not downloading music, she has a Mac! And as you know, Kazaa can’t run on Macs. They’re out for everybody these days. Check Here for the full story.

And that’s all the time I have, I’ll update later.

Cheatin' Death

Posted By Jeff On September 25, 2003 @ 9:56 am

I just finished watching Final Destination 2 around 5 minutes ago, it’s absolutely amazing. I know it may have gotten some low ratings in the box office and in reviews, but I really, really like it. The concept is taken to the full extent, they spared nothing on special effects, and the whole feeling of terror is played on throughout the whole movie. I recommend this movie to anybody and everybody, it’s fantastic. I give it a 8/10.

Now on to my day. It wasn’t very exciting, but it’s another day. I did absolutely nothing but blog during networking. Media Studies was again, very interesting. We’ve been talking about colored people and rap music. It’s interesting to know that 89% of people who listen to rap are white kids from suberbia (I think that’s the spelling). It’s a fun class.

I’m planning on not doing too much tonight, I don’t think there is anything on TV today, well nothing good that is. I’ll probably either sit here for awhile or just go to bed early, I’m exhasted from having to think so much this week.

Ho Hum

Posted By Jeff On September 25, 2003 @ 9:08 am

Notes are boring, but so is reading them online. Cisco is just plain stupid. I’d rather be doing anything else. What an idiot. Can you imagine having everything that you do on your computer projected on the living room wall? I think it would suck.

It seems as if we’re going to make some cat 5 cable, well just put the ends on them. This class is really stupid. Somebody though we were making them from scratch. Stupid people and stupid thinking.

Well I don’t feel like writing this, I’ll write more later.

And the award goes to…

Posted By Jeff On September 24, 2003 @ 11:03 pm

Well it’s not really an award, but Jun won on Big Brother 4. I’m not a big fan of the show, but I like sounding like I care about stuff. For those who want to know, she won 8 votes to 1.

Today I didn’t do much, pretty boring. Got some English homework crap; hopefully got a good mark on my Math; Writing sucked and Media Studies, like always, was good.

I haven’t done much today, but I’m thinking that I should start doing something interesting to talk about on here, because right now I’m pretty damn boring. I’ve added link buttons on the sidebar, for those who want to link me. I’d like to thank ashley for the top 2. Oh, I was checking out Alexa today, it’s pretty cool. You can check out most site’s stats and rank over all. It’s pretty cool stuff.

And that’s all I have to say. Check out my extended for an added little bit.

I’ve decided to add any little things that I want to put in down here when I don’t have anything to extend upon. I may put quotes, tips, funny emails, etc; I’m not sure yet. If you have anything that fits that creteria, feel free to send it to me, I’ll put it here. Today it’s a…

Shazam!

Posted By Jeff On September 24, 2003 @ 9:07 am

New layout! Ashley made me a beautiful header, and it makes the whole page look good (except my posts that is). I’d like to thank Ashley so very much for it.

After I posted last night, I didn’t do too much. I downloaded some more music, some good some not so good. I woke up this morning at 7:11. I told myself that I would just lay there until 7:20. 7:20 rolled around, I slept until 7:30. Eventually I got up at 10 to 8 (7:50 for those who are stupid). I’m so tired in the mornings; I really, really hate mornings.

So now I’m in the midst of copying notes. It’s not very exciting, I seem to know everything that we’re doing. Right now we’re talking about Broadcact and token passing topolgies. God this stuff is boring. I have a math test next period, no sweat there. It’s all proving statements for congruent triangle and some fomula. I hate school. And I’m done.

Routers and Hubs and Switches, Oh my!

Yeah…

Posted By Jeff On September 23, 2003 @ 6:42 pm

Ok, I’m running out of title ideas here, especially for boring entries, I mean, keep reading, it’s not boring at all! OK, I lied, this entry is pretty boring.

I didn’t do much except blog this morning, then realize after how damn long it was. Math was boring, I have a test I will Ace tomarrow. English was boring, writing was boring. Media Studies was very entertaining, my teacher put down rap and called Brittany Spears a whore. I like honest people.

I haven’t done much but watch TV and come on here since school got out. I was/am looking at going to California for Spring/March break. It would be $643 for me to fly round-trip to San Francisco, and $671 for me to fly to San Diego. So it’s all up in the air. And the whole question is ‘Can I get $643 by then?’ I doubt it.

And that’s all for this update.

Quote of the Day: “Brittany Spears is a whore. She dresses like a slut then goes on about her virginity, I’m just waiting for her to come out with a ‘how to’ book for prostitutes.” – Mr. Pierce, Media Studies

Do-a-diddy diddy-dum-diddy do!

Posted By Jeff On September 23, 2003 @ 6:21 pm

I’m pretty bored, taking notes is boring. I’m sitting here talking about the history of networks. I like networks, but I’m a faster typer then people who write, so screw slow people, I’m blogging as I copy these damn notes. I’ve realized this class really, really stupid. People are total morons, I should have taken a harder class.

Well I went to the WWE pay per view last night, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Shane O’Mac jumped off of a 30 foot thing and went crashing through wood, he didn’t get back up; Shawn Michaels lost his match; JR & King got screwed by Jerico (I hate Al Snow); and God damn Goldberg won, I really hate Goldberg, he’s not entertaining at all.

And the teacher is assigning homework, I hate homework almost as much as I hate Communists and ‘King George’. Stupid homework.

Routers and Switches and HUBs, oh my!

Ghost Chickens in the sky

Posted By Jeff On September 23, 2003 @ 8:37 am

Last night I didn’t do too much, just sat around and watched TV, decied to watch Basic, it wasn’t too bad. I downloaded some music last night though; suprisingly I downloaded some Aqua, it actually wasn’t that bad compared to some of the pop-y stuff that they have today. This morning however, it’s been interesting so far.
I woke up at 7:11am, and fell back to sleep. While sleeping, I had the coolest dream:

There was like 9 of us; we were in an area with all snow; we were on a class feild trip. Some how we came in 1 jeep, don’t ask me how. So we were digging a big long tunnel in the snow, and it opened up to a big snow cave. In the cave was a small green dinosaur thing, about knee high. However, it wasn’t harmful. So in the cave: It was full of old magazines and movies. There was also a TV, VCR, unopened Jurassic Park DVD and a Jurassic Park book. We took the DVD & book. But then when we left, we let him out… *see extended for more*

Don’t ask me how I remember this so well, I just wrote it down as soon as I woke up.

Then I did get up, and walked to school and they played a parody of Ghost Riders in the sky, it was called Ghost Chickens in the sky, I’ll try downloading it later.

And now I’m in class, we’re talking about network device. Hubs, repeaters, switch, routers, etc… Not very exciting stuff. However, it does give me time to blog. And I’ve realized that no matter how many times you tell people something, there is always going to be somebody who doesn’t know and asks the stupid question that the answer is still on the screen.

Routers, they can do everything that you don’t give a damn to know!

As soon as we let him out, he ran. We brought the jeep over, but he was gone by the time we got it, though we followed his tracks. The next thing we knew, we were out side of Canadian Tire (a hardware store). The dinosaur drank a beer and grew human size, that’s when he became dangerous. Somewhere between that and he trying to kill me for taking his movie, everybody disapeared. So he’s trying to kill me, and he got a rocket launcher; at this point he was like a dinosaur-man hybrid. He was shooting at me in a parking lot, and kept missing, then who came along but Samuel L. Jackson (remember I watched Basic last night). So Jackson was showing him how to aim, but still kept missing, so the dinosaur killed him. Then I ran. He, the dinosaur, was then chasing me in a red jeep for awhile. I somehow grabbed part of the rocket launcher that he has sitting in the passenger side of the jeep. But as I landed from jumping and grabbing the part, he hit me with the jeep. He then threw the 2nd part of the rocket launcher at me, and drove away; so I thought. But while I was still on the ground, he drove back in a car that looks like a hamburger. He picked up the parts and drove away. The I woke up.
